Norwich Friends have worked with a local film maker to create a short film covering a range of topics including ‘finding’ Quakerism; Quaker Testimonies, and something of the history of the meeting house in Goat Lane with examples of Quakers individually and collectively making an impact on the lives of people in need.
Quaker’s don’t follow dogma or creeds but have testimonies we seek to follow in our lives.
These are Truth, Equality, Peace, Simplicity, and Sustainability.
There are neighbouring buildings on the site also owned by the Area Meeting and the film goes on to inform how these buildings are leased to organisations that seek to make a difference in the lives of local people. These initiatives are in pursuit of and witness to the Quaker testimonies.
